Chiara and Spiros
Perfectly combined, art and coffee create a mutual exchange.
Art, like coffee, needs to be enjoyed, lived, and experienced at a relaxed, unhurried pace. Of course, both also ignite thoughts, ideas, and emotions.
Plastico is the place where this enchanting dialogue is brought to life, with help from three essential ingredients: coffee, art and design.
The heart of Plastico is an intoxicating blend of Italian style and passion, with Greek warmth and friendliness.
For this reason, Spiros paid particular attention to serving one of the very best coffees at Plastico to resemble Greece, where coffee is forever an opportunity to meet new and inspiring people!
Our chosen coffee is Milani Action Espresso Bio Coffee blend, 100% Arabica. It has obtained the prestigious Certified Italian Espresso product certification, and was awarded the gold medal at International Coffee Tasting 2016.
We also wanted to imbue a sense of Italian history and culture by introducing the Moka coffee, an alternative coffee brewing experience that is classically Italian.

We want each and every artist to shape this space and make it their own. We want them to discover new ways to express their artistic style on the walls of Plastico.
The symbol of Plastico is the capital A, with the central stroke moved to the top of the letter. This represents our mission to elevate art in every form (music, paintings, poetry, and writing, to name just a few!) and bring artists and audiences closer to each other, in a place where true inspiration can happen.
Plastico frequently hosts different, diverse exhibitions and live events, so that every month the space is imbued with new life and energy.
At Plastico, artists find a curious and open-minded audience who is willing to know and understand who they are, discover their creative process for themselves, and ultimately, buy an original piece of art to treasure forever.
For this reason, our opening events are always a blast… for both the artist and our guests!

Everything we create and offer at Plāstico is authentic and precious.
Our cakes and savoury snacks are made in house with love by Chiara herself, following original Italian recipes (some of them coming from her beloved Zia Biagia's notes and recipe books.)
Plastico is also home to The Pattern Tales, another much-loved project of Chiara and Spiros that offers lifestyle and creativity-stirring products inspired by classic books.
On the second floor, customers can find an original gift or an elegant souvenir to remind them of their wonderful visit to Syros.
