This month, and till 4th June 2022, Plastico Gallery has the honour to host the work of Greek artist Maria Tzirozidou.
In her artworks, she unleashes the energy she gets from her environment. The result is sometimes dynamical, sometimes lyrical. The oil on the canvas is dense and rich, creating a fascinating pattern that reminds us of the beautiful Cycladic springs.
"I never focus on the pattern and the surrounding space. I want to create an interior landscape."
Maria Tzirozidou was born in 1975 in Athens. She graduated with honors from the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has exhibited in Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities in Greece.
