WE are the ocean

Anna Maria Papadimitriou's paints underwater landscapes in brightly coloured oils, inviting the viewer to wander into unchartered waters of a dreamlike watery environment - the ocean, the starting point for life and for creation.

“Ubuntu is an ancient African word rooted in humanist African philosophy, roughly translated as "I am because we are" or "humanity to others". We are reminded that life on planet earth encompasses four essential elements - the land, the sea, the humans with our stories, and the cities we inhabit. If one element suffers, they all suffer. ”

WE are the people

Peter Macken uses oil paint for his expressive thought provoking works.

Peter often writes short stories or poetic texts alongside certain paintings. Sometimes a poem or narrative influences a canvas.

Sometimes it’s the other way around — a cross-pollination between word and image.
