“A World Full of Colors” presents a vibrant collection of Bouli’s recent work in acrylics, alongside a selection of delicate pencil drawings.

With her bold use of colour and expressive forms, Bouli seeks to convey a sense of joy, wonder, and warmth—inviting viewers to see the world through a brighter, more playful lens.

Since 2011, Bouli has lived permanently on the island of Syros, dedicating herself to drawing and painting.

Her work ranges from pencil and ink portraits to wall paintings and hand-painted signage for homes and shops. Over the past two years, she has turned her attention to acrylic painting, drawing inspiration from the natural world—flowers, birds, landscapes—as well as from abstract forms.

A World Full of Colors by Ourania Bouli. On display until 12th April 2025.

Ourania Bouli was born in Athens and studied at Vakalo Art & Design College, where she was taught freehand drawing and colour by esteemed artists such as Nikolas Klironomos, Iro Kanakaki, and Roubina Sarelakou.

From 1992 to 2000, she worked as an interior decorator, focusing primarily on residential and retail renovations. Between 2001 and 2011, she ran her own studio in Halandri, Athens, where she crafted and painted decorative objects and small furniture made of wood and paper.

A particular passion of hers during this time was giving new life and character to old furniture through artistic restoration.
